Maintenance Mechanic

Horizon Staffing Solutions is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic for one of our clients located in Amityville, NY. This company is a manufacturer of commercial and residential heating equipment.

• This is a full time position
• $55k - $58k salary

Responsibilities:

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Knowledge of electricity within machinery
• Knowledge of Mechanical Maintenance repair
• Being able to look at a machine and identify the problem
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of manufacturing machinery and assembly lines is a must
• Strong electrical knowledge is necessary
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
