Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Suffolk County, NY

Horizon Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in Mastic Beach, NY. The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides clinical coordination and supervision of school therapy cases based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with autism and related developmental disabilities. The BCBA will work with students in both an Elementary and High School setting. Duties include overseeing and preparing student’s treatment, conducting behavior plans, analyzing data and implementing data-driven programs, and communicating with the students’ parents and child study team members.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3 times a week - 1 hour sessions (Flexible Schedule)
• Home Services
• $85-$87 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide direct/indirect BCBA supervision to behavioral therapists assigned to cases
• Design ABA curriculum and treatment plans, with regular updates based on Student’s progress
• Attend to child’s physical, personal, and emotional needs
• Analyze ABA Data and implement data-driven changes to treatment
• Write updates regarding each student’s progress
• Participate in meetings with supervisors, child study teams, and personnel.
• Assist with parent training and clinical assessments, as needed

Requirements

• BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to understand child’s needs
• A Master’s Degree in psychology, behavior analysis, education, early childhood education and development, special education or similar areas are acceptable fields of study
