Horizon Staffing Solutions has many warehouse jobs located throughout Suffolk County. Suffolk County is the eastern half of Long Island. Warehouse locations include, Islandia, Hauppauge, Smithtown, Patchogue, Commack, Kings Park, and many other cities / towns. We are looking for individuals that show an outstanding level of commitment to their responsibilities and job. We need reliable people that are willing to put in the work every day. Shifts include 1st and 2nd shifts. 1st shift is usually during the morning and afternoon hours. 2nd shift usually starts in the afternoon and ends 7-8 hours later.
You will be responsible for various tasks. As a warehouse worker, you will work in a manufacturing and production environment. Your duties will include processing product, packing, and sorting items for shipping and receiving. The warehouse professional prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors. Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements; arranging for repairs.
Job Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Bilingual is a plus
- Dependable and reliable
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time
