Horizon Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified picker packers for a Long Island based warehouse. Basic warehouse picking is performed by a picker that fills one order at a time by moving along warehouse shelves, pulling one item and then moving to the next item on the order form. A Picker/Packer is measured by their percentage of correctly pick line items.

Location: Suffolk County, Long Island

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm 1 hour for lunch

Pay Rate: Competitive

 

Job Duties:

  • Standing on feet for length of time
  • Counting, matching and color coordination
  • Reading slip sheets/order forms and follow written instructions

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in similar role is helpful
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Dexterity
  • Flexibility to work in different environments
